Radiobiology: LQ model, BED and EQD2
Fit cell survival with the linear-quadratic model (SF2, α/β, D10, AUC), then convert fractionation schemes and protracted radionuclide doses to BED and EQD2.
Built on the logic of RadioGx (bhklab) (opens in a new tab). Research and education only.

The radiobiology lab fits cell survival with the linear-quadratic model (SF2, α/β, D10, AUC) and converts fractionation schemes and protracted radionuclide doses to BED and EQD2.
Key features
- LQ survival fitting with SF2, α/β, D10 and AUC
- BED and EQD2 conversion
- Protracted radionuclide dose delivery
Frequently asked questions
What is EQD2?
EQD2 is the equivalent dose in 2 Gy fractions: it converts a schedule into the total dose that would give the same biological effect if delivered in 2 Gy fractions, using the linear-quadratic model.
