Research model tools
Run molecular calculations locally, or connect your own model service for protein sequence quality and healthcare stock allocation. Ask your BYOK AI to interpret the computed output.
1. Choose a computation
No calculation has run yet.
Optional model service
Deploy the included model-service separately, then connect its HTTPS URL and access token here. The connection is kept in this page’s memory and cleared on refresh. Tokens are excluded from exports. Inputs go directly to the endpoint you choose.
No service connected. Local RDKit is available above.
2. Inspect computed output
Results name the engine and version that executed.
Open-source engines
RDKit · BSD-3-Clause · bundled WASM 2026.9.1.
Biopython · optional sequence worker.
OR-Tools · Apache-2.0 · optional allocation solver.
DeepChem, REINVENT4, AiZynthFinder, DiffDock and MHCflurry are documented discovery extension points. Their weights, GPU workers and predictions are not bundled. A BYOK chat key does not run these scientific models automatically.
About this tool
What is Research model tools?
Research model tools execute real calculations: RDKit molecular descriptors run in an isolated browser worker, and an optional separately deployed service runs RDKit Python, Biopython protein properties and OR-Tools stock allocation. Results name the engine and version; AI interpretation is a separate step.
Key features
- RDKit WASM descriptors and canonical structures in your browser
- Optional authenticated model service (RDKit, Biopython, OR-Tools)
- Protein sequence physical properties (not immunogenicity)
- Single-product priority-weighted stock allocation
- Computed JSON export and optional BYOK interpretation
How it works
- Choose a computation
- Calculate in the browser or connect your model service
- Inspect the computed output and engine version
- Optionally send the result to your BYOK AI
Frequently asked questions
What actually runs when I press Calculate?
The bundled RDKit MinimalLib (BSD-3-Clause) computes descriptors in a browser worker. Aspirin returns a molecular weight near 180.159 g/mol, marked COMPUTED.
Do I need the Python model service?
No. Local RDKit works without it. The service is optional and adds Biopython protein properties and OR-Tools allocation when you deploy it on your own host.
